I'm starting to hate all of Samsung phones ๐Ÿ˜’, Samsung phones are only good for one year. After that, they are straight bull. I'm spending all this money on they devices and I'm getting the same results from them all. From flagships all da way down to the cheapest. I have the galaxy s24 and don't get me wrong its a beautiful phone but all Samsung phones comes with that usb port problem, phone stop charger out the blue. We go around spending unnecessary money trying to fix the problem but some how that problem still exist. I believe, it just they way of finessing us into buying they latest devices. But hey, they latest devices coming similar to they old devices. So why spend of this money on they new devices and within the first week you gone spending more money trying to figure out what's wrong with the usb port again. Wondering Why the phone not charging again. This is a new phone, this is one of their recent phone and yet I'm already buying new usb ports and batteries for the phone and the phone still not trying to charge. Smh paid to get the port clean. Nothing happen. Paid for the rest of things and still nothing happen. Reach out to them But instead they wanna tell me about their other bull devices..

Sorry you experienced this. What you are describing is highly atypical. USB port failure and early battery degradation are not widespread issues and may be specific to your device and/or usage.

Anecdotally, my S24+ is still going strong and has had zero hardware issues whatsoever. Consider wireless charging as an alternative if you are concerned about the longevity of the USB port.

It's been my observation that people tend to abuse their poor USB ports - either by jamming the cables in, allowing pocket dust and lint to accumulate, not using proper tools for cleaning (if they clean), or not being careful around minor exposure to water.  I have never had a single USB port problem on any of my Samsung phones (or any phone, for that matter).

Agree with this! This can happen not just to phones, but also to laptops and other devices. I remember damaging one USB-A port of my laptop when I was less careful back when I was younger. But I can say that thankfully, with tech improving throughout the years, my 2-year-old S24 Ultra is GOOD. Despite how many drops it would take, or how many times it has shuffled around my bag while charging through a power bank, the USB-C port is still good for me! I still try to make sure not to repeat that same mistake, but of course it happens sometimes right?
