My S24 Ultra's screen has gotten shorter visually. There is about an inch of black taking up the bottom port of my screen.
What can I do?

Galaxy S24
black bar or blacked-out portion at the bottom of a Samsung Galaxy S24 screen often results from a system crash, software update error, or, in some cases, a display driver malfunction related to the OLED panel. To fix this, force a restart by holding the Volume Down and Power buttons for 10โ60 seconds, or check for display, theme, or battery-saver settings issues

Troubleshooting Steps for S24 Black Bottom Screen:
Force Restart: Press and hold both the Power and Volume Down buttons for 10โ20 seconds. This can fix temporary software freezes.
Check Battery: Plug the phone into a charger and let it charge for at least 20 minutes before trying to turn it on.
Disable Power Saving: Go to Settings > Device care > Battery > Power saving, and ensure it is turned off, as this can sometimes cause screen display issues.
Clear Cache Partition: Boot the device into recovery mode to clear the cache partition, which can resolve corrupted temporary files.
Safe Mode: Start the phone in Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is causing the display glitch.
Physical Check: If the issue persists, the screen might have a hardware defect. If the phone is new, it may be eligible for a replacement, as some users have reported display issues.
