Galaxy S24
Hello everyone! I have an odd one here. I have a galaxy s24 fe that is my main phone. I bought a Moto G Play 2024 brand new at dollar general for $40 and it's through total wireless. I bought that one for tweaking, expiramenting, testing apps and so on. I downloaded a bunch of apps for doing what I just said and I downloaded them on my s24 fe so I could get used to them by exploring them. I have ZERO intentions on doing anything illegal or warranty voiding on my s24 fe but I was wanting to root the Moto G Play which, as I understand, wouldn't be illegal because Motorola offers a bootloader unlock code for some of their phones. Now the problem is that certain apps will not open and a message will pop up saying the app can not open because my phone is rooted. I can prove, pretty easily and definitively, that this phone is not rooted because I would love to meet the person that can root a samsung phone without tripping knox or unlocking the bootloader. I can post a screenshot of my downloaded apps and some other pics that show that it is not rooted. What would cause this?

That's really weird. Sounds like something is tripping Knox. If you uninstall those apps, do you still get the message about being rooted?
