I have recently bought an S24 Ultra, and recently it upgraded to UI 7.

I do not like my apps (not the home screen)  to be presented in scrolling mode,  so I changed the setting to paginated.  Great, back to what I prefer . . . . but then I realised that they are not in alphabetical order.

It seems that under "Sort"  I can only choose "custom order" or "alphabetical".  - Alphabetical gives the scrolling screen option but the apps are in alphabetical order. When I select custom order,  the apps are presented in pages (paginated) to swipe  from one to the other, BUT no longer in alphabetical order.

I tried "the option "clean up pages"  but that does not seem to help.

Is there a way to achieve paginated apps in the aps drawer, and alphabetical order?  -  without physically re-ordering them manually.

Thanks.
