Sound isn't as loud as it was before update

Since ui 7 update ive noticed my sound is not loud as it use to be, all my settings are default and correct

Check to see if a media volume limit was set. Settings/sound and vibration. Tap the dot menu and select media volume limit.

I've seen several people complain about this already.  It's entirely possible the update put a media volume control on by default.
