Is there any way to prevent whatever is playing on Spotify from showing on the status bar every single minute no matter what? So if I'm trying to compose an email, there's a flashing icon, in a bright purple color, at the top of my screen. All I want is to be able to use my screen to write something without continuously being told what is playing on my phone at that moment on Spotify. Is that possible?
The only way I found to remove the little pill shaped icon next to the clock was to turn off media player on the Now Bar. Settings/lock screen and AOD/now bar/turn off media player. Bad thing is if you use the media player/Spotify on the Now bar to control music you will lose it but you can add a widget to the lock screen using Good Lock and the LockStar plugin/module.
