Thumbs DOWN to Google Messaging

I am very disturbed with the Google Messaging switch. I tried it & it does NOT compare to Samsung Messaging! The RCS feature is not needed. Sure one can send emoji responses on a message like iPhone but if that's what one desires, GET AN IPHONE! It only works when the receiving party uses the same RCS feature on their Android phone anyway. The overall features on the Samsung Messaging app has way more personal customization features that make each & every chat/group more visible & organized. I will stick with Samsung Messaging until forced to switch on ALL platforms.

Neither is tons of people coming on here crying about something that is entirely preventable. People are acting like they have to use Google and they don't.

Yes, use a third party unknown virus filled data harvesting app instead. Sure buddie.

We may be forced to use Google but at least Samsung didn't show me ads or have the security risks that third party apps do.

Google Messages DOES NOT have ads, never did.  It's not a third party app, it's part of the Android system, which makes it first party.  What security risks do you refer to with Google messages?  Are you in espionage or national security?

I know they do not. I was referring to other app options out there. Im just not a fan of Google messaging or email.

Not a fan?  Don't use it, find something else - simple.  You are not FORCED to use Google (only if you want to take advantage of RCS).
