Yahoo Search Engine black screen issue

Somehow when I open up my search Engine yahoo the screen is black except for the upper left corner is a small "ok". Any idea what is going on and how to get yahoo back? Any help would be appreciated.

I just put yahoo in the search bar in Chrome and it is now working in Chrome, absolutely wierd

FYI, downdetector.com shows a spike of outages at yahoo.com
