An hour of watching a video and 20% battery drain! Think this is a known issue for Google to address or is it also something on Samsung's camp as well?
Samsung may know about it, but it is not their issue or problem. That falls directly on Google as the app developer. I heard that there were fixes that were implemented, but since I dont use YT, I cannot confirm.

ok, maybe its google but its samsungs problem cause its affecting their phones, i was doing exactly the same things on my previous phone and no heat/battery drain, looks like it will never be solved, love the phone but constantly checking temperature and restarting my phone when heats up its ridiculous
No. Still not Samsung's issue. It is always the app developer's issue. Did you put in an error report, ever, With Google and Samsung? Or, are you content to wait until they duke it out and decide whose responsibility it is to fix?

did error report twice with samsung, i understand what you are saying that its developers issue but samsung phones are affected. Dont know what Samsung should do because Google maybe is happy with it, its not affecting their phones
Nope no solution because Google and censortube absolutely do NOT care! They have proven to us that they absolutely do not care about this. It's been going on over a year!
My fix is to absolutely NOT use censortube EVER on my phone at least. It even heats my oled TV up to the point I'm burning up in my room and start sweating! Any tech will tell you that heat is a battery's worst enemy! If I keep using censortube on my phone it's just a matter of time before I'll need a battery replacement! Is censortube or Google going to pay for that?! Nope! They definitely will not! The last thing they'll ever do!
Nah, no thanks. I'm done. I might use it again if I ever hear it's fixed. But that won't happen with it already have been over a year and it's still going on. Theyve proventhey do not care. Been soooooo many updates and not one fix.
