I just noticed that even though I have deleted some attachments from my gallery and then deleted all from my trash, I have a "shared attachments" on my phone. How do I get rid of those? I cannot find where they are located and I've already deleted them from the messages themselves and emptied my "trash".

Go to your phone settings, device care, storage, then select trash. Thats where they're at

That doesn't work. I've tried several times.  As I said in my post, I have deleted the photos from Messages, deleted them from my gallery, and deleted from my trash.  Trash is empty! There is NO trash in storage so where are the shared attachments?!

Same for me. Trash empty messages still have shared attachments.

This is a pretty bad security risk when every person I send an attachment to can see every attachment I have sent to everyone.
