The 'Basic' battery protection option for my S25 Ultra does not work. It just charges to 100% and stays there. I have a Samsung charger, and Fast Charging is turned off, if that makes a difference.
Nothing’s wrong with your charger or settings — Basic Battery Protection is bugged in your current S25 Ultra software (S938USQS7BYJ9). On many S25 units it charges to 100% and never pauses or drops to ~95% like Samsung says it should. It’s a known software issue. Fast Charging being off doesn’t matter. Only Maximum protection works reliably right now — you’ll need an update from Samsung to fix Basic.
