Hello Community Members.

We understand the frustrations caused by the battery drain on your phones and have found a solution.  This is occurring on T-Mobile phones because of the mobile services app.  In order to remove the application, first open Settings, then open Apps, press the filter and sort icon to the right of Apps. Then turn on Show System Apps and search Mobile Services. Select the three dots to the right of mobile services, and then select Uninstall updates. You will need to select OK. After you have selected OK make sure to check the version it should be downgraded.

This will get you back up and running. If not, donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to us once again!

Thank you for being a Samsung customer.

I had a magnetic pop socket type thing on my phone. It fell off & I'm getting better battery life. 5 hrs heavy use, 6-7hrs- email, reading etc. Does the magnet affect the battery? I'm not getting another. I also turned (i can't remember) to standard, something to do with battery drain. Today it's been off the charger since 8 am. It's 1:40, 30% battery. significant difference. So I guess a magnet drains the battery? Idk but I swear it helped! Phone didn't get hot while charging, or talking on it. Well little warm but it didn't burn my ear!

Magnets will always affect the battery unless it's shielded or is a battery that is made for magnetic charging.

On battery settings there is 2 settings the power saver and protection in summary you could try using those and see if it helps as for magnets I never been a fan of using it or near electronics

Ever since the Febuary Security Patch Update, I'm experiencing significant battery drainage and phone gets hot now. Neither were a problem before Febuary. I can fully charge 100% in the morning and with regular usage I'm at 33% a little past noon. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution?

Prayfully, One UI 8.5 update will bring seamless updates and take care of this otherwise will have to wipe each apps cache.

Wipe Cache Partition never cleared cache of individual apps. Only cache of the OS and temporary files.

My phone was brand new February 20,2026. Worked great...battery level at 5pm after work and using it most of the day was about 60%. Ever since the update 3/25/26 it drops 10% every 45 mins...at 15% by 1pm. AND its neen bery hot.

Nothing has changed EXCEPT that update. The phone is new and was great until then. My 3 yr old S23plus was still holding a battery all day I should have kept it. I turn my phone off at 10 pm every night,  never charge it over night either. Very annoying...I'm going to tell Samsung to take it back
