Galaxy S25

I have bought a new S25+ phone. I cannot find my plantronics device to S25+. I have tried many suggested ways I found in this samsung community like unpair devices in old device, reset wifi/bluetooth in new device, restart device and so on. I have wasted my time a lot already. Still no good outcome. If samsung is forcing people to use samsung ear buds, well I found that some people who have already bought samsung devices and tried to use these devices with samsung mobiles, have this bluetooth pairing issue. I have spent my hard-earned money to get a phone, and it causes me inconvenience. I appreciate if there is a way to solve this on my new device.

There is the possibility that the Plantronics is incompatible, especially if it's an older model. This would be an issue for you to take up with Plantronics. It's not some devious scheme by Samsung to force you to buy Samsung buds. Have you made sure your Plantronics is in pairing mode? It will not be discovered if it's not.

What do you mean? JBL is iwned by Samsung and should definitely be compatible. If I'm not mistaken, JBL also has an app. Make sure your JBL is in pairing mode.

FINALLY solved my problem with this:

Was trying to pair Steelseries Arctis Nova 7P. Tried everything that was suggested.

Here's what actually worked: look for your device through SmartThings Device Control

  • Click the + at the top right corner
  • With your device in pairing mode, At the bottom of the page, click "scan nearby"

It immediately found the headset. No issue connecting it to my phone that way. Bluetooth menu still doesn't see it.

Similar problem.  I tried to pair with devices previously paired with my S21.  The first one worked, the second seems to have locked up the search function, the little icon doesn't even spin now.  I've re-set the device, turned the function on and off, done all the things I can find.  Not sure what to do next - planned to re-set wi-fi and bluetooth too, until I saw your post.
