Cannot dissociate file type

I have an S25 Ultra running Android 16 and OneUI 8.0. I opened a text file and was presented with several suggested apps to open it with. I pressed "HTML viewer" (preinstalled app?), and then, accidentally, "Always", so this app was permanently associated with text files.

Now I want to change the association, but cannot find "HTML viewer" anywhere! Checked in Settings->Apps and several other places, but to no avail. Couldn't find any other clue online.

When a text file opens, it only shows the file contents, without any info about the app. Is there another way to find (and delete?) the app? Alternately, Is there another way to "break" the file type association?

Thank you 🙂

Awesome, this did it, thank you very much!

BTW re "Turn Off Open supported links" in the last step, I pressed "Clear Defaults" instead. I suppose this means I can now re-associate it in the future?

HTML viewer is a system app and can be found in the apps. You have to turn on "show system apps".  In any case, go to settings/apps, tap the dot menu and select reset app preferences.  You will get a warning and a description of what it does in order to continue, you will have to tap OK, or have the opportunity to back out.  This will set your preferences for all apps, so they will have to be reset, but you will be asked when the affected apps are opened, so you don't have to dedicate a block of time to resetting all the permissions and defaults.
