Don't get notifications when receiving text messages, Samsung galaxy S25 Edge.

Can you please provide a little more details? Do you not receive them at all? Do you not receive them after using the phone for a period of time? Do you receive notifications from your other apps?

I receive notifications from other apps.Just don't receive any to notify me when I have text messages

I had this same problem with my S25+ a few weeks ago. I searched everywhere to figure out what was wrong. I am sorry to say my mind is under so much stress (lost my husband to mesothelioma 6 months ago and now awaiting tests for lung cancer myself), that I can't remember exactly where in Settings I found it but I believe it was under the Notifications section but it may have been Messages, (mine was specifically happening in Messages) after going through all of the options several times over numerous days, I finally saw going down the line items, next to one of them on the right there was a grayed out bell with a line through it. I clicked on it, it disappeared and my notification sound came back. I believe it was on the main screen, not a subscreen. I know this is vague, and I am sorry for that but it wasn't a problem with the system but rather a glitch that either happened during an update or something because I hadn't been in the Settings section or made changes to my Messages app. I hope this helps in someway.

Did you check your settings?
Go to Settings → Notifications → App notifications → search for Messages and make sure notifications are turned on.
Also, try clearing the app cache, sometimes that helps.

My notifications were turned on but that may have been where the bell with the line through it, meaning the sound was being muted was.

Make sure notification categories are turned on:  settings/notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for all apps.  Return to the notification settings in the app and tap on the notification categories.  Make sure notifications are turned on for incoming messages and allow sound and vibration is on.
