Duplicate calendar apps

Running duplicate Calendar apps on my Samsung S25+ seems duplicative, wasteful & distracting.  What do I lose if I delete the Samsung calendar and rely only on my Google Calendar app?

You won't lose anything if they're under the same email I believe. But just to be sure, I'd check if your Samsung calendar settings have your Google account connected. It will only sync if your Google account is connected to Samsung Calendar.

There is no uninstall option for Samsung calendar, but you can disable it and/or stop notifications from it. Your Google and Samsung calendars will still sync as long as you are logged into both accounts.
