My battery has gone down since a recent update too. If you search for "battery drain" you'll see tons of posts

Galaxy S25Hi everyone,
I recently noticed my Samsung phone battery drains faster than expected, especially when Iโm not using it much.
Does anyone have tips on settings or features I should turn off to improve battery life?
Thanks in advance!

Galaxy S25Also put apps to deep sleep that you rarely use by selecting "background usage limits" under the battery option.
Uninstall apps you will not use as these use background resources.

Galaxy S25Check your battery usage statistics and see if anything is chewing up a large portion of the battery. If an app at the top of the list is showing a high battery percentage and you were not using it, put that app to sleep. Screen on time greatly affects battery use, so if the screen is on for long periods of time, the battery will discharge faster. The brightness of your screen is also a factor, so make sure to either turn on adaptive brightness or lower the brightness to where you can comfortably see the screen in a bright room. If you use the AOD, either turn it off or use one of the power saving options: tap to show, auto, as scheduled, or for new notifications.
If your phone is an older model, the battery is old, has had more use and charge cycles and would be deteriorated, so your battery could just be nearing the end of its useful life. It's at this point the battery discharges more rapidly.
