I have a Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra and about 3 days ago, it started acting weird. Every time I plug my charger into my phone, an ad pops up. I have tried a LOT of different ways to stop it. I was told it could be a third party app. I tried to boot it in safe mode to find the culprit. Can't find it. I don't know what to do. Is anyone else having this problem? I have a scree recording of what's going on but can't upload it. I'm tired of the ads/pop ups. Can someone PLEASE help me? And I uninstalled Chrome because that was the main pop up/ad I was getting. I STILL got pop ups after doing that.

Galaxy S25This was happening to my Dad yesterday and some how a Routine was setup when he plugged in his phone youtube and other apps would open check this.
Phone settings
Modes and Routines
3 Dots in the top right History
Tap Routines and see if any routines run when you plug in your phone

That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially on a flagship device. While a custom resolution utility is great for display adjustments on a PC, it unfortunately won't resolve ad-injection issues on Android. These pop-ups usually stem from a "hidden" app with "Display over other apps" permissions. Check your settings under "Special app access" to find apps that shouldn't have this permission. If that fails, a full factory reset is often the most effective final solution.
