[Galaxy S25 Ultra] RCS chat msg not available?

My s25 ultra doesn't seem to have RCS msg available. Says this device not supported. I went to my carrier T mobile and they say they have no idea of issues with RCS msg with their service. Not sure what else i need to do. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem with my S24 Ultra. AT&T gave me another Sim card and that seemed to work.

Have you tried updating the Messages app? Turns out that was the problem for me after looking into it. Then RCS started working.

This worked for me. Uninstalled the app and updated it. Worked like a charm. Thanks!

That would be very odd I have RCS on my new s25 Ultra absolutely no problem with it but I don't use a physical Sim whether that makes a difference I don't know AT&T activated it with e-sim they told me e-sim is better than the physical SIM and that's part of the problem. That is also what I used on the s24 ultra 2 and that was e Sim

Somebody mentioned their s25 Ultra was getting hot and so did their s24 Ultra that's a lot odd to me too never had the s24 Ultra Ever overheat and neither has my s25 ultra either

Hmm. Got an S25 yesterday and it did seem hot, and messaging not working either. My S24 has never gotten hot.

I was having the same issue but finally got it to work; I went into the settings> apps > and Google messages cleared cache and data, and then restarted my phone, and it works fine now.
