Galaxy S25I'm only experiencing this on my S23U. My Tab S9 has the September Play system update. Both are on One UI 8.

Galaxy S25According to this, there is. November update, along with October, September and August as well..... Why has my flagship been stuck on the July update?
Seriously, this is unacceptable and I clearly have to manually update to keep my device secure.
Looks like my next device will be one I have more control over.

Galaxy S25Any Android device is going to rely on Google's schedule and deployment of the Play System Update. You can keep your device secure by turning on the app protection and/or downloading an antimalware app and/or using a VPN. There are many people using older devices that no longer receive these updates and they are doing just fine security-wise. Are devices left vulnerable to exploits without the updates? Probably, if they have no other protection. Are you likely to be targeted for those exploits if your security lapses? Possibly, but not probably. You can be proactive in your own protection, while still being irked that Google (not Samsung) is lagging.
Also, no matter how much control you have over a device, you cannot get an update that has not yet been issued for it.
