I'm not sure when this started to occur, but I get duplicate calendar event Alarm for all events.  Has anyone run into this problem, and if so, how do you fix this?

The event Alarms triggers. I tap the dismiss button. The Alarm goes off again about 10-20 seconds later.

Thanks,

Hello, Welcome to the Community! We understand how frustrating repeated notifications are.

Are you using Google calendar synced with the Samsung calendar, like @requa in this thread? https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Prevent-Duplicate-Calendar-Notificatio...

No.  My default calendar is Nine...but notifications are turned off completely on that app.  The calendar is an exchange account, which then propagates to Samsung calendar app.

Is that Nine - Email and calendar? If6so, on Google Play, it's last update was in January 2024 and quite a few people recently downgradeed their reviews because of that and not working.

Thank you for the additional information.

Under Settings>Notifications>Advance Settings, do you have "Repeat notification alerts" toggled on?

Is the "Show snooze button" toggled on? Is it possible you are snoozing the notification instead of dismissing it?

Yes, show snooze button is toggles on. The repeat notifications is off.

If you snooze an event or swipe it away rather than hit the dismiss button, the notification will repeat within a half hour (not sure of the exact time period) and keep repeating until you properly dismiss it.

I never see the snooze button on calendar events, even though the option is on

That's because you are probably not opening the notification before swiping it away. Or you are opening it and hitting the little icon on the lower right of the notification bubble.
