Galaxy S25
Hello guys, I need some help. During my transfer of data from the s25 to s26 ultra it seems my secure folder information didn't back up even if I had set it to do so. I don't know where the error was. Later I went on to do a factory reset of the s25 ultra. The challenge now is the secure folder information wasn't in the backup I did so I can't access it's information. Is there any solution or hope of data retrieval? Or i should just give up like most people are saying.

Sorry, unfortunately the data is gone for good. When performing the factory reset, any data not backed up got erased.

Key Points to Check Before Giving Up:
Cloud Backup Sync: Even if Smart Switch failed, check if it backed up to the cloud. Go to Settings > Security and privacy > Secure Folder > Backup and restore to see if an old backup exists.
External SD/USB: If you backed up your Secure Folder to an SD card or USB drive using Smart Switch, you can restore that data to your S26 Ultra.
"Reset with Samsung account" Option: If this was not activated, unfortunately, the data cannot be recovered after a
reset.
If you did not use an external SD/USB card for backup, and the cloud backup did not occur before the factory reset, the data is likely unrecoverable..

Unfortunately, I hadn't used an external SD/USB. That'd have solved my predicament.

I just learned if don't unlock the secure folder it won't back up and will loose everything it happens to me a month ago. Also if you backed up with Smart switch it do say you should unlock secure folder otherwise all documents will be lost I saw that late.
