The option to leave the screen on without timing out is now gone. This is annoying. I set my phone down a lot at home. Whether I'm cooking, cleaning, working out or on my pc I commonly have my phone out with an app running like Spotify, Twitch, Netflix, IG or YT and when my screen timesout it causes glitches and requires reconnection to streaming services that often forces me to completely close out an app and relaunch it. I don't understand why the option to never timeout the screen was removed.

@chippewakka If the app glitches when the screen sleeps, it probably is being put to sleep. Adjusting the battery settings of those apps can fix that.

For Good Lock, there is a new module. It is called Display Assistant. It has a couple of options which will help you out. You can set a screen timeout for each app. You can choose overall to keep the screen on 30 minutes.

I've never had a problem with the screen while watching anything. I have mine set to 2 minutes, no modules or having the toggle for eye recognition.

Quite possibly you have that latter setting turned on and if you are not watching the screen it'll start the timer and lock the screen if you are not looking at it.

In the developer options, there is an option called "stay awake" that keeps the screen on as long as the phone is plugged in.
