Ya I'm still waiting as well my model number ends in U as well but my phone is unlocked

I meant S23 Ultra. Mine is U1, factory unlocked. Usually one of the last to get any update.

My guess is carriers prioritize models with their firmware, as opposed to carrier-agnostic firmware.
