Phone refuses to capitalize the letter "I" automatically

Anyone else know a solution to this?

Auto-capitalization should typically handle the letter "I" (and other sentences). Make sure it’s enabled:

• Open Settings > General management > Language and input.

• Tap on On-screen keyboard (or Samsung Keyboard, if you're using that).

• Select Smart typing.

• Toggle on Auto-capitalization.

This should allow your phone to automatically capitalize "I" and other sentence-starting words.
