S25 Ultra notification tone is all the same for all apps

I've been an avid Samsung user for many years, and just upgraded from the s24 ultra to the s25 ultra. The s25 is playing the same notification sound for every single app. For example, my WhatsApp, ring doorbell, text messages, Facebook, Gmail, etc all make the same alert sound and there's no way to make the app play their default sounds. I spoke with 2 different Samsung employees on chat and they both told me it was not possible and they have no record of notification issues. So, I proceed to drive to an authorized repair shop and they told me its a Samsung software issue and my best bet is to return the phone until Samsung fixes their issue. 

Anyone else having this issue? Any idea when a much needed software update will be released?

Did samsung just remove this feature altogether? There should be the app provided sound in notification categories.

So, let's say you're using Snapchat. You receive a notification. There would be a snapchat notification noise when they either send you a message or call. It's the same with discord, ebay, Facebook, etc because they all have default notification sounds.

Im trying to look for the apps default notification noise. Every app i have is the same samsung notification and it irks me.

There seems to be options to choose in what you show maybe you can find a customized option from store

Although there is options, I'd much rather prefer the notification sound of the app. The Samsung s22 never had this issue. If I had a notification from an app, i would know which app it is based on the default sound that was programmed with installing it.

The s25 changed or removed some previous tones i.e ringtone or notifications

Select the app by touching and holding until you get an applet popup. On the top right of the applet, you'll see a small circle with an "I" in it. Click on that then choose notifications, notification categories and then choose the sound you want for particular notifications.

If you the sounds do not show up in the list of choices (which they should being part of the app will will populate there) you may have to download them separately. These images are my examples of my Samsung Members app.

That's literally what everyone is doing and yet, no changes. So your advise is unfortunately incorrect

Also having the same issue. It could be a bug, because discord is also doing it too. Even uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help.

Has anyone figured out how to separate app sounds so that they are not all the same ?
