Galaxy S25If you insist on putting your phone in your pocket, you should ensure there is nothing else in that pocket that can scratch your screen. This is how phones get scratched.
Personal I use a screen protector for this purpose and a case.

Galaxy S25This is not even a Samsung problem, really. Samsung has partnered with Corning to provide the industry leading best crack and drop protection screen that they can. Corning has spent several decades trying to perfect this technology in glass, and has come a long way. Sadly, as Robin621k points out, we have to have a trade off of either scratch protection or drop/crack protection, and Corning has gone with drop/crack as it's priority. Literally ANY other device that uses the same glass with have the same properties.
I have had my S25 Ultra for only a couple of months now, with no screen protector (I will apply one the moment a micro-scratch appears), and keep it in my pocket. I have 0 scratches on my device, and find it laughable that you would blame Samsung for the care of your device, when they have done everything they can to ensure you get the best glass screen on the planet.
