So I have an unlocked S25 Ultra on Verizon. I heard Samsung Messages came back with RCS features on Verizon and T-Mobile. We'll I downloaded the app and I get an error that says "Registration Failed" im not sure why. I was prompted to activated RCS.

Only thing I can think to try is turn off wifi and see if it will register on Cell signal

I tried that and it's not working. Bummer, I always preferred Samsung messages over Google messages.

If you were using Google messages at all. Open back up Google messages ,make default, and turn OFF RCS.
Next open Samsung messages and make default then turn on chat features .
Next disable Google messages or uninstall.

I tried that, but I'm unable to tap on chat features because it's grayed out 1741915783621.jpg

Hello Alexs1993, Welcome to the Community. We understand the disappointment of not being able to use Samsung Messages.

It appears Verizon does not support the Samsung Messages app. Take a look at the solution here: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Verizon-no-longer-supports-RCS-in-Sams...

Other Members state they were notified by Verizon that Support ended in January 2025 for the app.

I don't think that's entirely true. I did get it to work for about 2 hours when I noticed my messages weren't migrating over. So I deleted the app and re-downloaded the app and then this happened
