I have a routine set up when the temperature is equal to or below 68 Fahrenheit, heat the house to 70 Fahrenheit. Says the routine was activated but when I checked the thermostat, it wasn't actually heating the house.

@richard97 Can you post the routine?

I can see it activated, heat mode enabled, and the temperature rising to 70.

Just posted the routine. Does both the phone and thermostat need to be on 2.4 ghz wifi?

@richard97 I would do some troubleshooting.

I would verify that "Bedroom 1" Thermostat is actually the one you think it is. If you have multiple thermostats, it could be possible that you are accessing a different one then expected. I would make manual changes in SmartThings thermostat settings and verify it changes that thermostat. If this doesn't work, the routine won't work.

I would stand at the thermostat when you expect it to change via the routine. Then you can verify the routine triggered and check what happens on the thermostat.

I would think that it would be best if they're are in the same wifi network. But SmartThings can be used remotely so probably not. But it is certainly worth testing.
