Touch hovering

Is anyone else's s25 Ultra keep following your finger after lifting? When I'm scrolling sometimes it keeps track of my finger slightly above the display. This is most noticeable when playing games like minecraft and anytime I'm scrolling vertical pages.

Is this able to be fixed with software or should I try a replacement device? I plan on holding out until the last day to return to see if a software update comes along.

The phone display overall is a significant improvement to the s24 Ultra especially since there is no graininess at low brightness anymore! I just would like to be able to play games on it and scroll!

This sounds like an s-pen function. Do you have a copper coil or something on the tip of your finger? 🤪

It feels like it lol. If I'm intentionally trying to hold my finger close but not touching it detects touch probably a full mm away after dragging.

I have tried this excessively on my s21 ultra and tab S8 to make sure I'm not just going crazy and they only touch and release when I physically touch the glass 😭

Maybe it's just a much more touch sensitive screen? Call tech support and ask them

I'm going to stop by Best Buy this week and see if the display models experience this

Only thing I can think of is The sensitivity setting in display

I have tried that and restarting multiple times to no avail unfortunately

Not sure what else it could be or setting I haven't had this happen to my phone maybe submit feedback

Just came to me try the gestures setting check I'm on I.e habd gestures

I was able to screen record it happening. Basically if you keep swiping to go up on a screen you can see it sometimes catches your finger and scrolls down.
