Curious if anyone has been able to figure out how to keep a certain tower selected or how to disable the phone from auto switching to the strongest tower?
Might work if carrier has the feature, I tried looking it up and I found nothing, but depends what carrier you have because some carriers run on others like for example, Cricket Wireless runs on the AT&T Cell towers.
If you go to your settings and go to connections then go to Mobile Networks then to Network Operators. It says something about "Let your phone choose the best mobile network for you. If you turn this off you can choose from a list of available networks" Im not sure if this helps.
