Galaxy S25The Google update is by Google, not Samsung. The monthly security patch and updates are rolled out by carriers, not Samsung. Typically (it used to be the opposite), unlocked devices get the monthly updates last. In the past year or so, if getting updates on my S22/21, they most times did not come across any earlier than the 20th of the month. Until about over a year ago or longer, I saw updates many times by the 15th or even before, but that has changed AFAIK.

Galaxy S25Right, so the why post this in a Samsung help community since Samsung does not control the updates when ending with "Please do a better job and provide updates on schedule". Should not that be discussed on Google and the carrier provider forums as Samsung has nothing to do with the "Updates shouldn't be taking so long..." mentioned in the OP? I am being earnest here.
