Trying Weatherbug again after a long absence but I find that this problem still has not been addressed. I think I have the settings 'set-up' correctly. I don't think it is a problem with my S25 Ultra - other things work and this has been a long-standing problem with Weatherbug and the reason I looked for a different solution years ago.

Wanting to see if anyone else is having the same issue and/or if you solved it. Weatherbug is not answering nor posting on this problem.

Thanks for your attention.

Not related to Weatherbug, but the default Samsung Weather app has an option for a persistent weather notification. 1749134319788.jpg

The ongoing is in the notification shade. OP would like it in the status bar.

Do you use AOD?

You can have weather on your lockscreen and then in turn on your AOD.

WeatherBug is not a Samsung app, so any display of this sort would have to be programmed by the app developer.  If they used to have this functionality, Samsung may have prevented third party apps from accessing the status bar for that type of notification in OneUI7.  If the app never had this functionality, then the developers never programmed it to do so.  Use a different weather app.  Transparent Clock & Weather and Foreca have this functionality. Both are available in the Play store.

I use MyRadar Weather and up until the most recent Android version, the current weather notification would persist in the status bar, even if I pressed the clear button on the pull down notification shade. Now as of the latest android 15, anytime I click clear in the notification shade, it literally removes all notifications except for my VPN. So I don't think this is a problem with the app developers I think this is an issue internally and I have yet to figure out how to fix it. The only way to get the notification back in the status bar is to open the Weather app up and it will be displayed again. This is really annoying.

I have the same problem with my Google pixel. So it's not just a Samsung problem
