Weird lock screen sometimes appears

I've seen this two or three times - usually only when I'm at the gym and have a workout tracker app running. Seems to occur when I pull my phone out of my pocket quickly. It's not my lock screen clock (which I made in Clock face), it's just a clock with a second hand. You can't swipe past this screen or double tap, I have to use the power button to get to my normal lock screen .

I'm not using AOD, so it shouldn't be that.

It's normal. That shows up when you tap your clock on the lock screen. It will go back to the normal clock when you back out of that page. It used to show widgets with it but now it just shows that clock.

Thanks, it's been really bugging me. Odd function though, and there's no way to configure it in Lockstar that I see.
