Don't want google as my message

Why is message being discontinued for Google, I don't want Google all in my messages.

I downloaded another messaging app called fossify. I cant stand that samsung is letting google take over there phones. Might as well let em change the name of the company too

You will be very glad to know then that Google does not care about the content of your texts.  If you  use RCS, those messages are encrypted, even from Google's prying eyes.  You have more to worry about from the government trying to read the contents of your messages.  Seriously, NONE of us are interesting enough that Google wants to read our daily minutia.

You don't have to use Google. You can use whatever app you want.
