Samsung already has it,it's called message. Issue is that carriers will not support it.

Galaxy S26Not EVERYONE is upset over this. Just a handful of disgruntled users in the vastness of the galaxy of Samsung users. Some people don't care, because they never used Samsung messages in the first place; others just see it as another change in the software universe and will just do what they need to do to have a necessary utility (a messaging app). What upsets me, is the absolute inconsideration of all those who are upset, who feel the need to create their own individual post on the matter, rather than adding their voice to one already posted, resulting in a wall of spam and pushing down the posts of people who want actual help with REAL problems. It's like walking into a nursery with every baby crying.

Galaxy S26No, what it actually means is that it is a coordinated campaign to tank the reviews of an app - an app that most of those new reviewers never even opened once, or only once. When I look at reviews of anything, I only give credence to reviews that have actual details of why it's good or why it's bad - legitimate details, not "it's ugly" or "I'm being forced to use it".
Oh, and no one ever said it wasn't a lot of people. It's not EVERYONE and it's not even MOST users.

Galaxy S26You. You said it "wasn't a lot of people" when you said they were only "a handful of disgruntled users."
A small handful of disgruntled users would not have moved the ratings down out of over 40 million.

Galaxy S26Just because a bunch of c ryb abies are losing access to an app they happen to like is no reason to give fake reviews to the *recommended, not forced* app, that they did not even give half a chance. Most of you all just decided if you can't have Samsung Messages you are going to hate everything else. It is, in fact, a coordinated negative review campaign. I see posts all over the place for people to head over to Google and give the app 1 star reviews in the Play store. Don't tell me it's not a coordinated effort.

Galaxy S26I, for one, am thoroughly amused that grown people are melting down over a piece of software that s company that owns it has decided to discontinue.
In any case, the amount of users having a fit on various platforms is I still a relative handful compared to the number of U.S. users overall.
