My personal phone is also my work phone. My suggestion is to add a feature to allow notifications from apps for specific hours. For example I would love to setup Outlook to receive notifications from 8-4.

Maybe phones could even have separate "users" like Windows. That way you can keep work and personal searches, apps, notifications separate.

Thoughts?

This sounds like something you can probably already do with routines.

Yes, I looked into this and it's almost there...but instead of blocking what apps I don't want specifically, it blocks everything and you have to choose what apps, etc. you do want to receive notifications for.
It could definitely be used and updated a little. Good thinking.

I have also been asking easy way to switch between Personal & Work folders in the apps drawer

Yes. I just feel like it would balance out life better to have a fine line. Literally. This is very common for many people, so I think Samsung should really work toward a solution.

Not something I have seen any options on except the routines method

@Alora1 You can do this with Do Not Disturb (DND).

  1. Open phone settings
  2. Click on Notifications
  3. Click on Do not disturb
  4. Create a schedule for DND to be active 5pm until 8 am the next day.
  5. Click on App notifications
  6. Click on App notifications in the next menu and a pop up menu will appear.
  7. Select Allow all except selected apps
  8. Click the Add apps button and add Outlook.
