Hello,
Since switching to a S26 Ultra from an S23 Ultra I can no longer send messages using RCS. I contacted my carrier support and they did many things from swapping eSIMs, clearing cache/data to resetting the RCS feature but no avail. I also contacted samsung support but they were not able to do much as they claim it's a carrier side error but my carrier says it's a samsung side issue.
I'm now stuck not knowing what to do, obviously it's not the end of the world not having RCS but just wanted to see if anyone had solutions or feedback.
Thanks!

Check your update todate with Google messages think last week was latest one also in settings than apps scroll down to Google messages tap that than tap storage than tap clear cache also check in Google messages in settings atop rcs chat tap that at top should show your number and green under it

Just did all this and checked for new update today but didn't see anything, after clearing cache in the RCS setting it shows "unsupported" in red, occasionally after some troubleshooting it'll say "Setting up" but nothing comes of it.

Switch to Google Messages: Ensure you are using the pre-installed Google Messages app, not an older version of Samsung Messages.

Resolve "Unsupported" Errors (RCS Issues): If RCS Chat is not supported by your carrier, turn off RCS features in Google Messages settings (Settings > RCS chats > Turn off).

Fixing Stuck Activation: Clear the cache and data for Google Play Services (Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > Clear Cache).

Sideloading (Advanced): If you are attempting to use the old Samsung Messages app via sideloading, you may need to disable Auto Blocker in Security settings, allow restricted app permissions, and use an updated APK.

Toggle Connection: Toggle airplane mode on and off to reset network settings, which can resolve stuck RCS setup.

Look for the Google Play system update that dropped the other day.

updated it but still nothing unfortunately. one of the troubleshooting attempts was to "uninstall update" as well but that still didn't fix it.
