Galaxy S26Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns regarding the Face Tagging feature tagging the wrong faces in the Samsung Gallery App. First you would need to: Open the photo that was incorrectly tagged, tap the three dot menu and select people, find the person that was wrongly tagged, tap the circle next to their name to see all photos they're tagged in, select the photo with the wrong tag and then tap the three dots again and choose remove from results, repeat the other affected photos or use the same menu to delete name to remove the entire person from the gallery's recognition list.
Next re tag the person correctly: open the photo and tap the three dot menu, select people tag, if the app detects faces tap the circle over the correct person, if it doesn't auto-detect then you can manually add the person's name from your contacts.
To prevent future misgrouping: make sure you are tagging the correct person when prompted, if the app groups unrelated faces try removing one of the tags entirely and re tagging, clearing the gallery app cache can sometimes refresh face detection.
Please note: If you have many wrong tags, batch remove them using the edit or remove from results option in the people menu. By regularly cleaning up and re tagging, you can keep Samsung Gallery face recognition accurate and avoid automatic misgrouping.
If you are still experiencing issues with the face tagging feature please submit an error report: Samsung Members App, Get Help, Send Feedback, Error Reports.
