Removing this app without any heads up is poor nature. I hate google messages and had i know I wouldn't be able to get Samsung messages on it i would've stuck with my 25U indefinitely. This is a joke. Give us the option to get our messenger back!!!

Why do you hate Google!? It's far better than that weird galaxy one that force ads on top of the app really irritating and pointless and you can't turn it off it's better off gone I still have mine buts it's not installed I tried the whole galaxy package and it sucks the only cool thing about thri galaxy is the pin if Google had a pin they would stump on galaxy for sure

I set up tabs to separate contats and chats. If Google allowed it I would be fine with Google messaging but Samsung messaging is cleaner. I have pin the important ones but because of the multiple group chats that I'm involved in with work and personal it is too clustered.

Samsung messages doesn't have ads?

The Google message layout looks tacky and I don't like the functionality of it.

I think you're thinking about a different app. The Samsung messages app that was the default going back to the Note4 Edge has never had ads on it.
