Thanks for that info @userBAVWItLfXz Since this forum was largely designed for US based devices and their owners, I'm afraid I have limited information on international devices. Fast cable charging not working on my galaxy S8 (Italy) since update yesterday (Italy). I bought the phone 1 month ago and have tried using the fast charging samsung adaptor from my old S7 edge to no avail so I'm guessing it's not the charger itself. It says that it now needs 5 + HOURS to recharge. I have done a factory reset, nothing, gone to fast cable charging, nothing, it tells me to unplug and then plug in the charger it then greys out obviously not recognizing that it's a fast charger. Is there a fix to this obvious software problem? I have bought every galaxy except the S5 and frankly I'm a little miffed that it's saturday night and I won't be able go out with my phone. Thank you. p.s. Samsung Italy technical assistance is useless.
