Let's try placing the phone in safe mode? It would be a third party app causing the issue. This is how you place the phone in safe mode link.
Is this some type of joke? User asks for help... given multiple links that are all broken and then the marked Solved answer is his own reply saying that it isn't a Media volume issue, it's an in call volume issue. SMH
This is an issue most users are having since Pie update. As usual... Pie is to blame. My entire phone has suffered low volume across the board. In call volume is low and have to jack the volume to the max which I didn't have to do with Oreo and same with media volume which also has to be jacked to max, where as in Oreo I could have it at around 3/4 volume... which was still sad, but nowhere near as sad as it is now with Pie.
I'm having the same issue. Is there a solution to this. I have to take all my call with speakerphone or plug in headphones. All this happened after last update on my device.
We would recommend giving this troubleshooting article for microphone issues a try: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001249/
Hope this finds you well!
Yea I'm having the sam problem on my s9 plus.
It's been going on for about a month now . It first started after I updated my phone. Samsung needs to fix this issue soon
My husband and I are still having this problem. Tired of the replies that do nothing to fix it. The last one said to try a fix to the microphone. It is not the microphone! I cant hear the people I talk to on a call! I should not have to use speakerphone at my office or a headset just to answer a basic call. Samsung fix this! I have had galaxy phones since they first started but I am ready to find something else. Fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
