I just updated my note 9 to android pie and one ui as well. From my experience, it seems they have gotten rid of the "open in photo editor pro" option and just included the editor pro options in the new Samsung gallery. when I open the gallery and select a photo, I tap on the pencil icon and it opens up editor mode. From there, an additional three-dot menu at the top right corner also allows me to open an "advanced" editor mode. Try to see if that works for you. That's how it works on my note 9. Hope this helps.
thank you for your information. but like i said before, if i just want tou edit the face, the button "potrait" is still in gray colour. so i still can't editing just at the 'face' of photo
Okay I see what you are asking. I checked my gallery too. Some pictures have portrait option that is grayed out and some that is not grayed out. The camera must have a face detected when you take a picture. If it did not detect a face, the "portrait" will be grayed out.
They removed photo editor. They also removedvthe ability to customize text message backgrounds and you can no longer download third-party fonts among other things. Upgrade? I'm thinking it's a downgrade.
While you can still overlay a photo on top of another photo...you can no longer change the shape (or warp) the overlay image to suit your purposes. I used that feature a great deal! You can't control the percentage of filter used any longer either. You have no choice at all. It's a bad update.
