When you say you are performing a manual update, what do you mean? Are you pushing the update through your phone via a USB cord rather than an over the air update?

I'm having exactly the same issue with my note 8, it currently has the androi 7.7.1, so I want to upgrade to the oreo but when I click on "Download updates manually" a messages the says processing failed appears...
When you say you are attempting to download the updates manually, how do you mean? Are you going to your settings and tapping the update button, or are you downloading them from a computer?
