S8+ my WiFi connects but phone won't transmit data

My S8+ connects to wifi no problem but it won't send any data. No internet, not even text message or app updates. It does not matter which wifi source, I've tried multiple different sources from different providers. Makes no sense. Only time I can transmit data is on cellular. I've cleared caches, gabe plenty of memory available, and even done a soft reboot. Can anyone help?

I've had the same problem. I'm on the second device replaced through warranty. Unfortunately, per AT&T rep at store, this model came from factory with this connectivity problem. In andiron to having full bars and not being able to connect it make calls, unable to connect to internet with data, etc.

@LovelyRock Does this issue still appeare when your phone is in safe mode?

The issue happens all the time and now it's also affecting wifi capabilities as well. My provider insists that I purchase a phone or have this one replace by another S8. I am still paying for this device and is defective from factory.
