At first, the phone kept showing the dreaded 'moisture has been detected' message randomly for days.
After that the phone received a security update.
Then it lost the ability of 'fast charging' and now only charges after a soft reboot - power button + volume down key for close to 10 seconds.
Here are a few troubleshoot methods you can try:
-Are you using the original charger that came with your device?
- Samsung phones will not charge if moisture is present in the charging port when it is plugged in. This is a preventative measure added to avoid corrosion. You will still be able to charge with a wireless charger. A popup message will display in the event a charger is plugged in while moisture is present in the charging port.
