Mine too. Six months old and I have already replaced the front glass once. I owned the S6 and S7, dropped them all over the place and never a scratch. This thing cracks with the tiniest amount of handling. I am extremely unhappy as well.
Hi @usere5JOo5BkBo I understand how this is frustrating but I'd like to help. I would recommend reaching out either to myself or to one of other mods in Private Message to see about setting up an evaluation and repair for your device. You can also reach out on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/samsungsupport/), Twitter (https://twitter.com/samsungsupport), by calling 1 (800) 726-7864 or using the Video Chat feature in your Samsung Plus+ app.
I have an S8 and just found the same thing. I have had the case on for months. I just took it off today and noticed the back glass shattered. This may well be my last I have been buying Samsung since the Note 2 and this may well be my last Samsung phone.
Mine also cracked had the phone for 6-8 months and never dropped it,been super careful with it since it cost me $850 outright and the rear cracked today out of the blue..good thing I've been fixing phones for the past 5 years..
Hi everyone, if you haven't already, I would recommend reaching out to one of other lines of support for immediate 1-on-1 assistance and see about setting up an evaluation and possible repair for your device. I did that before right after I posted my comment. I can't be without a phone for 10-11 days, so Samsung wasn't much help. I think everyone is just wondering why these are breaking so easily, it is not what we come to expect from Samsung.
same problem with S8. is there any back glass with strong adhesive on the market which can guarantee at least similar or same waterproofing it was before cracking?
wherever I asked for service they can't guarantee waterproofing after the replacement and the last service said the reason is in adhesive type. I'd appreciate if you answer my question
