@Smithpspfan Have you tried resetting the network settings? Just a heads up, by resetting the network settings, it will remove all wi-fi and Bluetooth settings you currently have saved. Have you tried wiping the cache partition on your device?

@SamsungAdam no I have not because of the nightmare that would be. I have cleared the cache of the messaging app though. I will see if that has helped or not.

Clearing the cache of the messaging app solved my issue. I have not seen the problem resurface since doing so.
