sanitizing your phone

Hello.
Since iPhone has made it clear that using Clorox wipes are safe to use on the screen, what about Samsung in particular?
Is it safe to clean your screen with Clorox wipes? if not, what is the best and safest way to sanitize your phone especially to get rid of covid-19?

Re: sanitizing your phone

I've been using the wipes to clean my phone since this all started. Since they are IP68 rated I've never bothered to think too much into it.

Edit: I have an S20.

Re: sanitizing your phone

I would be concerned that those would take the oleophobic coating off the screen.

May I ask how you clean your Samsung phone?

Re: sanitizing your phone

The main thing I was curious about was I've always heard that the wipes will eventually get rid of the oleophobic coating which prevents smudges and fingerprints. That's basically what I'm asking is it safe to use when it comes to the coating on the screen?

Can anyone from Samsung confirm whether or not it's safe to use Clorox wipes?
