So after installing update on my S8, I get the notification to install it again. How do i make this go away? I've read lots of posts but dont see a final official answer to it other that clearing the cache, which id like some specifics on before I do that.

hmmm... yeah I dont gave an answer for the why but I think you are right to wait in clearing anything other than the old system UI might still be carrying over some residual memory. I'd head over to XDA Developers and post your question there. Most likely anyone who can help you on here is also working over there and the chances of your post not getting buried is smaller. If I see anything about it I'll be sure and post to your thread Hope that Helps
